SpotValue

From company filings to a connected research record.

SpotValue is being built to bring reports and announcements into one company dossier: a structured research record with links to its sources. Here is how the planned service works.

Collect the disclosures

Annual and half-year reports, company announcements, results presentations, quarterly updates, and director notices form the source record.

Organise and check

Extract information into consistent sections. Check accounting relationships, year-to-year continuity, and source references before publication.

Read and verify

Explore the business, compare reporting years, and follow figures back to their sources. Keep your own judgement about what the information means.

Ten sections.
A consistent way to research.

Each dossier is planned to use the same structure, with additional operating measures for the company’s sector.

Company profile

How the business makes money, where it operates, and its main revenue sources.

Market value and per-share figures

Dated market prices, shares on issue, and reported figures per share.

Financial performance

Revenue, profit, cash flow, and balance-sheet history on a consistent basis.

Dividends and capital returns

Reported dividends, buybacks, and other returns of capital.

Operations

The company’s assets and the operating measures relevant to its sector.

Management and board

Who runs the business, their disclosed interests, and director transactions.

Promise Tracker

Measurable management commitments beside their reported outcomes.

Events timeline

Company announcements and milestones in chronological order.

Strategy disclosures

Management’s own statements about its strategy and competitive position, attributed to their sources.

Outlook and milestones

Company-stated forecasts, upcoming milestones, and disclosed risks.

Keep management’s promises in view

The Promise Tracker connects a measurable target to the outcome the company later reports.

Each entry records what was said, when it was said, and where it came from. A published methodology determines whether the outcome is marked Hit, Missed, Partial, or Reframed. Unresolved promises remain open under that methodology.

If a due period passes without a resolving disclosure, the Standard allows the following full reporting cycle before recording an unaddressed promise as a miss.

Built for the next results season, too.

A dossier is designed to preserve financial history and earlier commitments as new disclosures arrive. The structure stays consistent, so you can return to the same questions over time.

Source dates and update notices are planned to show what period each figure covers and whether a newer filing is awaiting processing.

We show. You decide.

SpotValue organises company information. It does not provide stock recommendations, price targets, portfolio allocations, or investment advice.

Market prices are planned as dated, end-of-day figures. There is no trading facility. The purpose is to help you understand the record behind a business.
